Northern Care was established in Blackpool in 1999, with the opening of Piers House and is now one of the largest private providers of residential childcare in the UK. We have built this success on working in partnership both with local authorities and the young people themselves, alongside key stakeholders, treating each case on an individual basis.

Our portfolio of homes is spread across England, ranging from East Sussex to North Yorkshire, and Somerset to Norfolk and we continue to expand steadily. • Operate 43 children's homes nationwide, providing national coverage
• Employ over 650 experienced staff working in our homes who receive ongoing professional development and training
• Currently care for 200 children in our specialist provision
• Deliver local provision to meet local needs, with significant long-term contracts with Coventry City Council, Bradford MDC, Kirklees Council and York City Council
