Northern Care's Bi-Annual Manager's Meeting

Northern Care hosted their latest manager's meeting this week to help celebrate achievements within our homes and share best practice across our services and between managers. The event was a huge success and was attended by representatives from the Department of Education and Children and Young People Now.

Phil Frampton, author of Golly in the Cupboard, spoke candidly of his time in care and urged Northern Care's managers to continue their good work so that they would become the 'spark' that would make the difference to young people's lives.

Northern Care's Chief Executive, Kurt Denby, stated: 'Today was about celebrating achievements within our homes and looking at how we can improve our services so that we continue to make a positive difference to young people in care.'
