With the World Cup due to get underway, football fever has swept across northerncare. All of our homes have been allocated a national team from the finals and our children and young people invited to complete a project on the culture, history and, of course, the football in that country.

 

From the stadiums to the songs, the flags to the fans, homes will use the event to promote the Five Outcomes of the Government's Every Child Matters Agenda, particularly around Being Healthy, and to help celebrate diversity.

Each home will submit their project to head office to be judged by members of our Management Team before a winner of each cluster of homes is announced. An overall winner will then be selected and prizes awarded in time for the World Cup Final.
